Prerequisite: Requires passing grade in AST 250 to enroll
Grading: Class participation (30%), Final Project and Presentation (70%)

Week 1: Space Physics Laboratory & Safety Review 1
• Review of Astro 250 course with Q&A
• Ensure still up to date on Princeton University General Laboratory Safety
Week 2: Space Physics Laboratory & Safety Review 2
• In-the-lab safety quiz
• Review/Demo of the parts-cleaning process with a hands-on activity
Week 3: Review of submitted Project Proposal
• Examination and feedback on prior semester’s proposal
• Identification of issues and fine-tuning
• Team assignments
Week 4: Project work 1
• Develop plan and schedule
• Design work specific to project
Week 5: Project work 2
• Design work and implementation specific to the project
Week 6: Project work 3
• Design work and implementation specific to the project
Week 7: Mid-project review presentation by group(s)
• Project presentations
• Identification of issues and solutions
