Bio/Description

Daniel Pardo is a graduate student in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department. He served as a Navy Corpsman before receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University in 2020. During his undergraduate research, Daniel studied environmental effects on the compression characteristics and failure behavior of carbon fiber composites. At Princeton University, he worked on magnetoplasmadynamic (MPD) thrusters for applications in low earth orbit. His research interest is in astrophysics and engineering design of space instrumentation.
