Professor Nicholas Sarlis got his PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), in 1997. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Physics, NKUA. He has authored two monographs and more than 160 peer-reviewed scientific publications.

His research interests include time-series analysis, physics of complex systems, and solid-state physics.
