In her role as the Assistant Director for Subcontracts, Sharon is responsible for the coordination of subcontract administration services, systems, policies, and processes for the Space Physics Group (SPG), including initiating, awarding, and managing the portfolio of sub-awards and Procurement contracts supporting SPG’s NASA research projects. Sharon coordinates and works in close collaboration with multiple on- and off-campus partners and stakeholders, including direct interfaces with ORPA, Procurement Services, and Sponsored Research Administration systems and tools.
Sharon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has more than 40 years of procurement and contract management experience. Her broad experience includes her work as a Sr. Subcontract Administrator managing subcontracts supporting government-sponsored fusion research & development projects at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) and, more recently, working as a supervisory Contracts Manager in the Facilities Procurement Office (FPO) with oversight and responsibility for a $1Billion+ portfolio of construction and design services contracts in support of the Princeton University Capital Plan.
Outside of her work at Princeton, Sharon is a passionate supporter and actively promotes the construction of affordable housing in Mercer, Burlington, Middlesex, and Atlantic Counties through her service and leadership on the Board of Directors for the Habitat for Humanity South Central NJ (SCNJ) Affiliate.
